Throwback Thursday: BH Cosmetics Royal Affair 3 Pcs Glitter Set

Bring on Glitter!!  It's been so long since I purchased loose glitter, I don't know how to act!!  Glitter may secretly (well, maybe not so secret!) my favorite makeup item, even though it ma not be the most practical...Well practicality be damned, I'm ready to dazzle!!!  Seriously though, once you lay eyes on these shades, you can't help but get excited.  The colors are unusual for glitter;more muted; making them extremely easy to incorporate into wearable looks.  Now let's talk sparkle ladies, I'm just DYING to share my thoughts on this set!

This 3 piece set is the last item from the Royal Affair Collection left for me to review; I previously discussed the Brush Set, Lip Set, and Palette; all of which I will link below this post.  It comes in a sequined mini makeup bag that's sized perfectly to stash goodies in a smaller purse.  The shades consist of Lit; an OG favorite amongst BH glitter fans, however, Gold Rush and Warm Espresso are brand new shades exclusive to the Royal Affair Collection.  Each one is finely milled and ideal on the eyelid, but can be used for all your glitter makeup needs.  I used the BH Base Booster Glitter and Shadow Glue(pictured below) to apply, and the glitter stayed locked in place.  I didn't get that "out of this world" heavy metal look that you get from most glitter; it's more along the lines of a high shine glitter eyeshadow.  My favorite combos thus far has been Lit with the color "Quartz" from the Desert Oasis Palette(review linked below post!), and Gold Rush with "Canyon" from Santa Fe(also linked below).  Oddly enough, I have not tried any of these in combination with the Royal Affair Palette from the same collection...

I certainly enjoyed this little set, and definitely think it's worth the individual purchase outside of the entire collection.  It's on sale right now on BH's website for $12.00(3 bucks per item!), but can be purchased at anytime for just $19.50.  This is an excellent way to experiment with glitter without jumping completely out the window.  It will complement virtually any neutral or rose gold themed palette you pair it with.  💋💋💋💋💥(4.5 kisses)  BH; bomb-ass!😉~The Queen
