As a purveyor of all things sparkly, just at first glance, still in the box, this palette will have my heart! It's soo shiny and golden!! I love the simple geometric shapes; it allows the color of the palette to be the real focal point. I am immediately mesmerized. I sat for a little while, just looking at it; half expecting it to perform some magical feat; perhaps release a genie??!!
So I finally built up enough nerve to OPEN the palette; it was like I was almost TOO excited about what I would discover inside to even look! Once I did, I was most certainly NOT disappointed!! It WAS like magic; like the makeup gods made this ESPECIALLY for me! All of my favorite shades amped up to 150!! It even includes a du-chrome shade by the name of "Cactus" that is a more intense version of the blue/green/brown color in Wet n Wild's Comfort Zone Palette (thin MAC Blue Brown Pigment).
There are 19 shades in total, 12 ultra-shimmer, and 2 mattes. the last 5 pans are reserved for blinding highlighters!! the color range for the palette is just as the name suggests: all desert oasis-esque; consisting of rich golds, blues, toasty warm neutrals, and shades reminiscent of the sunset. An entire look was created using just this one palette. the colors are all buttery, smooth, and easily blended. Pigmentation is RIDICULOUS, and become all the more intense when applied wet.
It retails for $22.00, however is currently on sale via BH's website for $14.30. you can actually purchase 2 of these palettes right now for the price of one MAC Blue Brown pigment. Everything promised from this palette was delivered, and I am ENAMORED!! It gets them all 💋💋💋💋💋 !!!~The Queen~
