BH Cosmetics Detailed Brush Breakdown

Ladies, you may worship at my feet after reading this post!!!  The ONE thing I hear constantly hear throughout the beauty community about BH brushes do not have names on the handles.  At this point in the makeup game, I like to think of myself as a BH "Brush Connoisseur",an expert, if you will.  I heard the call, rose to the occasion, and compared each side by side to see just what's up with those seemingly random numbers printed on the barrels.  Well ladies,  it's exactly those numbers that hold th key to the whole mystery; The Queen has the answers you seek...

I started to notice, as I accumulated more brush sets that the numbers on the barrels actually DO correspond to one another across individual sets.  The only time they differ is, A: that particular brush or variation thereof is NOT included in that set; or B: The set includes a unique brush; in which case that brush will be labeled #1, pushing all the brushes that follow up one number.  For example, Let's look at the BH Signature Rose Gold 13 Pcs Brush Set vs the Studio PRO 13 Pcs Brush Set. Both sets include a pointed powder brush, however, because the Pro Set includes a fan brush, the pointed powder brush has been moved to the #2 slot.  Take a look at a few of their other sets.  This system rings true throughout all sets with similar brushes; I've paired a few above for comparison.

Personally, it does not bother me if a brush does not have the name/use printed on the barrel.  I prefer to try each one, and find my own personal use for it.  A work may not work for me as intend, but can end up being my holy grail for something else.  After all, a tool is only as good as the artist😉~The Queen
