I waited to talk about this particular member of the Mini Zodiac collection solely based on the color scheme. This palette has some serious late-Fall, early winter vibes, and since absolutely everywhere I shop seems to already be in a Fall state of mind, I wanted to get it in early! We are not strangers to BH's monthly release of the individual zodiac signs since November of 2018. Now that we are nearing the end of the chart, and closed in on the last few signs, it has my mind all abuzz with what's next. In the meantime, let's weigh in on Cancer, my fellow water sign, and see what it has to offer...
As with each of it's predecessors, the palette contains 9 shades total; 8 eyeshadows that are a mix of mattes and shimmers; along with one large center shade that can also be used as a highlighter. I've been writing about this collection for quite some time, so it's no secret how I feel about these palettes, however, I really wish these came with names on the shadows! That way BH could offer the option of purchasing these as individual shades(hint, hint!). Anyway, I digress, back to Cancer! Ok, so starting from the top, directly in the center, you have the most creamy, rich, peachy transition shade that blends out beautifully. If you move clockwise to the third shade, you arrive at a copper rose gold that is stunning. Both shades directly to the right are truly unique, and give the water vibes Cancers are infamous for. The quality of these shadows are fantastic, and an excellent combination of both BH's baked, and traditional eyeshadow formulas.
I am definitely precarious when choosing those times when I pick a cool, icy, vibe for my eyes; I'm a sucker for warmth! There is that rare occasion when a certain amount of chill is necessary...I'll be reaching for this when the opportunity prevents itself.
