Now here's a product I hardly EVER purchase in a palette form! When it comes to contour powders/creams, I tend to stick with single tried and true shades, and brands I know I can depend on. So when I came across this palette on the BH website, it peaked my interest because I saw a few shades that had some serious multi-tasking possibilities. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something new...and I am soo pleased I did! Keep reading to check out my personal experience with BH's Studio Pro Contour Palette...
1st and foremost, this palette contains very WARM contour shades. If you are a cool contour kind of girl, this is not for you(don't fret, the BH Studio Pro Shade and Define 10 Color Contour Palette has you covered!). I was spot on when it came to the many uses I would find for the shade range included. The powders are each very silky and finely milled. The pigmentation is certainly there; requiring a lighter hand with the darker powders. Shades 2 & 3 on the top row from the left blend perfectly together to form the ideal shade for me to set my under eye area. #4 can be used all over the lid, AND all over my face to set my makeup. In a pinch, if I had just 1 palette only to make an entire face happen, this could definitely stand up to the job. With a solid setting spray, I felt no need to re-apply by hr six.
Priced on site at $15.00, this item is a certified steal. The pans are huge, so the product will literally last forever. With its 10 color range, there's bound to be that 1 fits-you-like-a-glove shade that you learn you can't live without. As matter of fact, I find myself sculpting out my face on a regular basis, just for the hell of it; I just may have found something new to add to my daily routine! 💋💋💋💋💋 BH; keep the stellar workhorses coming!!!~The Queen
