So, when it comes to blush, I have a very specific idea of what I want it to do, and how I want it to look on my face. When I'm wearing it, the very first thing that comes to mind is "Roses". Regardless of the shade, I'm thinking, "blush is meant to make my face BLOOM"; its the icing that pulls the whole cake together and makes the process worth it. Naturally, when I saw that BH Cosmetics had 4 shades of blush in a floral themed collection, I took this as a sign especially for me from the makeup gods that this would be a blessed purchase...and I was all the way RIGHT!!! Not only are they visually appealing, but also illuminate the face beautifully. I've got tons to say about these shimmering blooms, so let's jump right in!!!

Each shade comes with one large flower embossed in it, which consists of one solid shade. There are several smaller flowers surrounding the larger one, which all consist of the same secondary shade. The color options include Caribbean Coral, a dusty rose combo; Honolulu Hideaway, a bronzy, wine-fuschia combo; Fiji Fun, a deeper, bronzy, mid-tone pink and bubble gum combo; and Bahama Bronze, a cocoa bronze and gold combo with the slightest hint of frost. Each shade DOES contain shimmer, so if you are a matte blusher kinda girl, I would steer clear of these altogether. I truly adore the effect I get when I mix the 2 shades together in any of the versions, it gives the look so much more dimension. The formula is finely milled and silky. Each one has excellent color payoff, so keep a light hand! They absolutely live up to the claims on the site about performance.

Each blush retails for $8.00, but are currently on sale via the BH website for $5.20; the perfect price to try all four, and start building a strong blush game for your kit. The great thing about blush is that it can look completely different on the face from one person to the next, and look just as fabulous on each individual.
