When it comes to brush cleaner shampoo, I've been DIY-ing that for quite some time, but I recently started looking for something larger than my faithful brush cleaner egg to expedite deep cleaning and sanitizing. I wasn't really interested in any of the DIY hacks that I kept seeing because I had my heart set on a glove. So a BCG can run a full range of prices; anywhere from $14.99 to $40.00. They are generally made of rubber, and are covered in ridges. I have found the EXACT same glove in the home section of Family Dollar for $5.00!!! Yup, you read right! It's actually a silicone oven mitt, but it looks and performs EXACTLY the same!! What's even better is that it's available in 5 colors, AND it's two sided!! You literally never need to worry about wearing it out. I purchased it in Pink and immediately tried it out. My brushes have never been so clean! I sanitized my new brushes using this and a bar of cucumber melon Dial Antibacterial soap as well, which also worked out beautifully.
Ladies, shout this from the rooftops and tell EVERYBODY you know!! Once this gets out, not one silicone oven mitt will be safe. I love a great DIY hack, but I love a bargain even more!!
