A girl's gotta have her neutrals!! It doesn't matter how many of these I buy, when I see a new neutral palette release with some some serious potential, I just have to pick it up. As something I rely on as the focal point of my everyday eye looks, I can NEVER have too many😉. This was the first of BH's Studio Pro 42 color palettes I purchased. When I first saw it, I thought, "perfect, all of my neutral shades in one place!" There were even a few in here that I actually hadn't considered neutral shades previously...
Alright, it's beauty confessional time; if a product is advertised as "studio", or "pro", I am immediately drawn to it. They make me feel like I know what I'm doing! The palette is split right down the middle as far as finish; housing 21 matte shades, and 21 metallics/shimmers. What I found to be most unique about this particular neutral palette is that each of the matte shades seem to a shimmer/metallic counterpart. I thought to myself, "ok, this is genius!" It's going to be dope being able to swap out some of my favorite shimmery eye looks for the matte version, and vice versa! Something else that I found which varied from other neutral palettes is that it wasn't an overly re-done version of one of the naked palettes. This has just about every hue of brown shimmer/metallic that a girl could ever dream up! It is guaranteed will discover a favorite all over lid color for everyday in Ultimate Neutrals.
The Studio Pro name may have been a selling point for me, but it was definitely the performance that SOLD me on it!! Each color is ric and buttery, with excellent pigment. I have used these both with and without primer, which held up equally well. Shes's a 💋💋💋💋💋; and here's hoping for a sequel!~The Queen
