It's an oldie,but GOODIE!! Today is an ode to an OG baked eyeshadow palette from BH: Galaxy Chic. This is the original, and 1st installment of the Galaxy Series. I'll never forget the first time I saw it; it was the most interesting eyeshadow I had ever seen! Each color literally looked like a heavenly body. I was both intrigued, and a little shook...It was time for me to jump into (or at least what I thought it to be at the time!) the makeup deep end...
The 1st thing you notice when you open this are the beautifully marbled color combinations in each pan. The shade range is a juxtaposition of both cool and warm tone, however, you will be hard-pressed to come across a neutral shade in here. The closest we come to one would be either Sun or Saturn, which both have a gold undertone, but have a brown/burgundy and pink/red (respectively) 2nd duo-chrome shade mixed in. The formula is smooth, and all colors have a satin/shimmer finish. In the beginning, I found the only shades to give me any issues with blending came from the lighter colors, but that turned out to be novice user error! lol I concentrated too much color in one spot, but hey, I was still learning! Of the 4 palette in the series, these shades are the most opaque.
