First Impression: BH Cosmetics Sylvia Gani Beauty Palette

I don't know how many of you ladies out there rely on YouTube for your latest and greatest in all things beauty; I know I certainly do!  I always turn to my most trusted gurus to impart their wisdom when it comes to the latest products.  I am all too pleased to be featuring on of my favorite beauty guru's very own palettes; Ms. Sylvia Gani!!  She has a wonderful energy and spirit, and I was absolutely ecstatic to get my hands on it and finally present it on my site to the world!!!

   

It features 22 colors; 20 eyeshadows, and 2 highlighter shades.  I am a fan of the packaging, right off the bat!  The outside is a slick jet black with a snakeskin imprint, and all accents are gold.  There is a single rose printed on the inside.  Each of the shades are named and labeled.  I must say, when I first swatched this, alot of my initial excitement went away because they were disappointing.  I know from personal experience that an eyeshadow cannot be judged by swatch swatch alone, so I persevered and dived in anyway.  I'm happy to report that they did perform MUCH better on the lid.  I used S-Club and Ginger for transition, which are both mattes; both of which were pigmented and blended very well.  Prince was gorgeous on the inner corner.  Opal is a beautiful highlight, but not as finely milled as Libra, so I actually remixed it and used it as an eyeshadow; I now have a new everyday lid color!

The retail price for this palette is $24.00, but is currently on sale for $15.60.  When Sylvia was asked why it was she chose the shades she included in the palette, she said said she did so based off the idea that if she could only have one palette for the rest of her life, exactly what shades would she want to have; and I love it for just that reason.  It is her inaugural launch for her beauty products, and I feel it is tastefully done and provides the pigment.  Do NOT purchase this palette under the assumption that you are buying a product that contains vastly different shades from anything else previously released, that's NOT what this is, straight from the Guru's own mouth.  The discovery of Opal as a legit all over lid color was the thing that set my heart aflutter.  Pigmentation is definitely there, and the shade range is inclusive of often used, safe shades; I totally recommend this to a diva who loves to streamline, and prefers not to dip into multiple palettes during the creation process of an eye look.  I'm giving this palette 💋💋💋💋, it's a beautiful basic, and I can't wait till for the sequel when Sylvia goes in for the kill and blows the beauty world away; I believe in you girl!!~The Queen
