I will be the first to admit the was probably THE LAST palette on the entire BH website I was interested in buying! Everytime I would see it, I was like, "I just don't get this palette!" It just seemed beyond basic, and I just could not find a reason to purchase it; but yt it remained SOMEWHERE in my mind...It was out until I came across a YouTuber who was doing a try-on/first impression video on this product, that is. I remembered it being on sale for $840, so I finally broke down and bought it. Here are my honest thoughts on this palette...
This is a 12-pan WONDER!! Even though none of the shades are truly ground-breaking, it is the FORMULA of these shadows and the consistency that are real standouts here. What I see here is a setup similar to something reminiscent of a combo of palettes from Two-Faced; like if Sweet Peach and Natural Eyes had a baby! The look of the shadows in the pan is like that of Tarte's Amazonian Clay Palette. These shadows bled soo well, ad provide an excellent color payoff. The darker shades were greatly intensified when applied wet. There is a combination of shimmer-satins and mattes; I was able to do an entire look with just this one product. There seems to be something different about this formula though, from other BH palettes, it just feels more velvet-like and buttery. The packaging on this is stellar, it's a hard plastic, with a blue marble print on the outside, te bottom half of the clamshell is solid white.
See ladies, this is why we can't judge beauty products off looks alone, but also by the "contents" of their character😉! Seriously, this is a diamond in the rough. Go ahead and splurge; spend that whole $8.40 on a great quality product. 💋💋💋💋; I absolutely LOVE when my beauty assumptions are shattered! Stay Fab💗.~The Queen
