I don't think I have anticipated an eye set like this since Coastal Scents released their Smokey Eye Brush Set circa 2014(which, by the way, remained largely sold out for over a solid year, and I STILL don't own!). Ever since I first saw this set in Cosmo, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! When I ran across them during my Deep Dive shopping, I was like, "Yup, I'm finally gonna grab these; ESPECIALLY with all these new palettes!" I must confess, I have been CONSISTENTLY using these for all my eye looks since mid-December😍!
I'm not a pot/gel liner kind of girl, so I rarely make use of fine liner brushes. Outside of that 1 single brush, this set was worth every bit of the hype. The 101 Blender is the perfect size for blending colors together seamlessly in the crease. Next is the 102 Large Shader, which is great for packing color all over the lid. The 103 Small Shader is more like a traditional shader brush, good for concentrating color on specific areas on your lids. I like using the 104 Angled Blending Brush to place color directly to the outer V and blending it up through the crease. My favorite use for pencil brushes are fo my inner corners and browbone highlight, in which case the 105 provided very precise application for these purposes. Finally, I used the 107 Small Angled brush to carve out and clean up my brows, providing the sharpness I prefer on the underside of my brows.
This set is DEFINITELY worth the praise received in Cosmo. I saved the best tidbit for last; the set retails for just $12.00, which is a steal; but its currently on sale for $8.40!! Thats a little more than $1.00 per brush. OK lil Eye Essentials Brush Set, you better COME THROUGH!! I'm giving her 💋💋💋💋💋. I am ABSOLUTELY going to order additional sets; BACKUPS NECESSARY!!~The Queen
