What can I say, your girl loves her tools!! Lucky for me, BH Cosmetics has such a large selection of tools on sale on a regular basis! Today's review is on the lovely little 12 Piece Studded Couture Set. This was one of those sets I saw, and immediately pictured these being perfectly packable for jetsetting. These are NOT mini brushes, which is what you generally get in a travel set; yet I would not say they are as large as a full sized brush either. Its the perfect happy medium, and make you feel like you brought a little piece of home straight off your makeup table!
Ok, I'd like to explain...If there is 1 thing in my makeup life that I have an irrational neurosis about, it's my makeup brushes. I don't particularly care for ones with flat bottoms, plastic handles, and the BIGGEST one of all, I absolutely LOATHE travel-sized brushes!! I don't know what it is , perhaps the fact that I feel they should all be marketed as "gift with purchase", you know, like a sample. Or maybe because every time I attempt to use one I feel like I'm using a child's toy. That's why I am smitten with this set; I get full-sized performance and FEEL. The eye brushes in this set are fantastic. Soft, and densely packed bristles, which was great for applying and blending eyeshadows. The packaging is simple, yet elegant. The bristles coordinate perfectly with both bristles and ferrules, which are cream and gold, respectively. They come housed in a cylindrical case with gold studs. Ideal for stashing practically anywhere on the fly...
