Throwback Thursday: RIP E.L.F. 144 Neutral Eyeshadow Palette

Any girl who considers herself a true makeup maven is familiar with the iconic 144 Neutral Eyeshadow Palette released by E.L.F. Cosmetics circa 2014. It had every neutral color a girl could hope for, and then a few extra.  It took YouTube by storm, and any beauty guru who was anybody was inundated with requests from followers to be the first to post a video tutorial and review.  My personal favorite was done by DivaMakeupQueen, which was an Urban Decay Naked Palette dupe comparison.  That palette sent shockwaves through the beauty world; not just because the quality was actually good, but because it was accessible to everyone, boasting a $14.00 price point.

Almost 5 years later, in memory of the light of a star that faded, let's have a moment of silence..."Chin up, Buttercup!"

For all my newbies who missed out on the hype, and the opportunity to purchase; while combing some of my favorite bargain makeup sites, I came across yet another MEGA neutral palette!!🙌  Being ideal for beginners, it too contains 144 shades, and looks EXACTLY like the E.L.F. version.  I WILL NOT, I repeat, WILL NOT be purchasing this item, as I still have an unopened sealed E.L.F 144 Neutral in Deadstock.  I also noticed the similarities in the manufacturing;meaning its probably an identical palette; making this purchase redundant.  Its simply my job to advise you guys of what's out here in these makeup streets.😜  So if any of you ladies are still feeling the sting of loss, head over to kleancolor.com...
