There are some things in beauty life that don’t need to be pure torture. I have noticed some of my biggest frustrations and disappointments when it comes to makeup are purely USER ERROR. Not that I was using a product incorrectly, however, I was using the wrong TOOL for application! 🤦🏽♀️
The proper beauty tools are a MUST if you are going to be applying pretty anything much more than a B.B. cream and gloss on a regular basis. They are imperative to the cohesiveness of your overall look.
There are simple, inexpensive tools that you should ALWAYS keep on hand. Online stores like Shop Miss A offer one stop shopping for beauty tool essentials. Their Wonder Blenders priced from $1-1.55 (sans the black one!lol) are giving the $20 Beauty Blender a run for its money! These are super soft and blend my cream makeup into my skin like a dream. I’m also digging the silicone oval sponge(yes, it comes in glitter!!) which is also just $1, and has made a rush application look like an hr + job! The scissor tweezers ($1.00) have been rocking my lash application and making it sooooo simple to apply them.
As with anything else, proper care of your tools will increase longevity, and ensure that they continue to work as intended. This finger sized brush cleaning egg is fantastic for quick cleaning. The convenient size prompts me to clean individual brushes on a much more regular basis. It works perfectly, is priced at just $1.00, AND comes in pink. What else can a girl ask for?!!😍
Makeup wipes are the crux of any great makeup kit. They are not only great to have on hand in case your look starts going left, but you can use them to quickly freshen up a dirty brush AND keep your products neat and clean. I always keep at least 2 packs on hand. My recommendation is the Rose Water scent. It’s light, fresh, and most importantly, CLEAN.
Unless you want your kit remain suspect👀, I would consider putting about $10 to the side to stock up on these essential items. There are all sorts of little beauty tool gems that we don’t even think about we use everyday that don’t get their props for being our makeup heroes. What are some of yours?!
