Shine Bright Like a Diamond

So I’ve been on the hunt for a tinted setting powder that was pretty finely milled and had no flashback in photography.  What I had been doing up until this point was mixing a powdered mineral foundation in a darker shade with the e.l.f. HD setting powder in translucent, making my own cocktail of sorts.  Well, when e.l.f. Opted to raise the price from the $6.00 this product cost previously to $8.00, AND drastically reduced the amount of product you get, I knew it was time for a change.

Enter stage right Shop MissA and their Studio Perfect Setting Powders!!!  Each priced at $1.00 and providing the same amount of product as the e.l.f. counterpart, there are 3 shades to chose from: translucent(White), soft light(pale pink/beige tint), and Banana(yellow with brown undertones).  I purchased the soft light and banana.  I used the banana shade to bake and set the undereye area, and used soft light on the other areas on my face.  I have to say, I am VERY pleased with the outcome.  The powder set my face beautifully, and after misting my face with a setting spray, melted into my face as if it was my own skin.

I finished my look off with Just the lightest dusting of this baked highlighter in Macaroon (also $1.00) on the top of my cheekbones, which had me beaming like the Egyptian Sun God Ra!😜. Both of these products are stars in my book and have permanently stolen me away from some of my most cherished of go to items.  I don’t know ladies, AOA studios just might be on to something...~The Queen~
