As we all know, I love a great quality lipstick at a low cost, some of my favorite shades to wear are actually some I've purchased (and continue to buy over and over again!) only cost $1.00. What I tend to do is stick to brands I am familiar with, but sometimes, I'll pick up something outside my comfort zone and instantly regret it from 1st swipe. If it's anything I hate more than something being overpriced, it's wasting my money! I had to come up with a way for that NOT to happen, at leas when it comes to purchasing lip colors;-)

Ok, sooo the fix is basing your lips out with a liner all over the lip in a similar color, THEN layering that disappointment of a lipstick on top. Voila!! Its no longer trash!! You can also experiment with layering opposite shades underneath to create truly unique looks. Go ahead, scour the bargain bin without fear, you got the lip game on lock;-) ~The Queen~
