LA colors has been a long time cheap thrill for me. The lipsticks I love from them have never let me down, and the gold eyeshadows always double as an amazing highlighter. So naturally, I was thrilled to see these new little gems come to market.
The 2 palettes that caught my eye were the Fancy and Frisky, so I went right out to pick them up. The 1st thing I noticed was the packaging. I thought to myself, “damn, this is the most nicely packaged item I ever purchased from LA colors!” It’s made from a heavier slick plastic, which allows for easy clean. It even has a nice weight to it, like some more expensive products. I would have liked to have seen an eyeshadow brush as opposed to the 2 foam tip applicators, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker.
The shadows are pretty pigmented and appear to be a different formula than previous palettes. They are soft and easily blendable. The shadows are actually quite large, making the size of the palette less than optimal as far as grab and go is concerned unless you tend to keep your purse/bag on the larger side.
I’m giving LA Colors 3 kisses for these, πππ as I am a lover of evolution and growth. I would love to see LA colors mature to be a true force in the makeup world. ~The Queen~
