Beauty Addiction on a Budget

I wasn't very familiar with beauty subscription services until I noticed an ad on my blog.  This idea of receiving products on a monthly basis without me having to visit the site, browse products, make the selections, and ultimately, payment, intrigued me.  I wanted to know more.   So I began my research like any other studious little blogger, watched dozens of videos, poured over even more sites, and I came to the conclusion that, for the amount being paid monthly, FOR SOME, was actually worth the value.

For those of you as clueless as myself as to what a beauty subscription service is, let's define that in the most simplest of terms.  A beauty subscription service is offered by a company, generally on a monthly or every other month basis where you pay a small fee to receive an assortment of products, ranging from samples to full size products depending on the company.  The ones that seem to be most popular are those that outsource the products provided and have a very diverse catalog of items available.

Sounds great right??!!  Real talk, I wasn't impressed, and couldn't imagine spending ANY money on samples with the off chance I may receive a full sized product or two.  So I had decided, as for the Queen, beauty subscriptions were a thumbs down.  I would continue to decide what to spend my money on on a monthly basis.  Then came this....

First of all, it's from e.l.f., so that means, in my book, it's an automatic for me to at least check it out!  What I found that I liked was that it first and foremost included full sized products.  Next, it's done every other month, at $19.99 a pop with the option of cancelling anytime.  Each bundle includes a retail value of at least $40.00 worth of items, and best of all, the things you receive seem to be things you would have actually logged on and purchased without the subscription!  I placed my order for my first box, which I will be receiving in the next 7 days.  I'm excited to see what will be sent.  All sign up info can be located on the website via eyeslipsface.com.  There will be an unboxing video and blogpost with all the deets in it once it arrives, but if any of you have already previously subscribed, I would love to know what you think! XOXO
