One thing Covid 19 Quarantine has done for certain is turn a large majority of us into both voyeurs and Social Media Influencers overnight.  Our lives have literally become the only source of fresh entertainment.  Even though we aren't venturing much further than our front steps to attend baby showers, graduation parties, and even the occasional puppet show (Don't Ask!), the fact of the matter is we are still very much being SEEN; perhaps now more than ever!  I don't know about any other makeup lovers out there, but I'm taking FULL advantage of all the camera time to SLAY like I never have before!  Not only that, I'm using the opportunity to FINISH an eyeshadow palette or two; I can't tell you the last time I hit pan!

My favorite go-to look that continues to be fabulous year after year is the Victoria's Secret runway look.  It's soo simple, yet gorgeous, and changes very little from one show to the next.  I can hardly wait for YouTube to drop the newest tutorial(s) from my favorite gurus.  This is the one by MsRoshPosh is my OG, and NEVER lets me down.  It's perfect for looking fancy, but it's just a white tee and a pair of jeans!


For those online events that require a little more glam, utilize your smokey eye skills!  A smokey eye in combination with winged liner and lashes is instant glam.  I've been wearing my sequin bomber jacket with different tops to all of these, creating a new signature piece.  One upside to isolation, being creative with things I already owned, helped me to discover just how versatile some items really are.  I purchased mine from Shein, and its currently on sale for $14.99!!  I linked the purchase below the post.



Bottom line, our brave new world isn't for the camera shy.  It offers us a new outlet for physical expression amongst so many restrictive new protocols for everyday life.  With all the extra time at home, we have the chance at TRUE self care, and becoming our own experts.  Embrace this time with yourself  and use it to look your absolute BEST from the inside out.  Get out there and CONNECT...~The Queen
