Throwback Thursdays: BH Cosmetics X Marvyn Macnificent Collaboration Pt. 2

I have been sitting on her for a while, waiting for just the right chill to hit the air to give her a fair shake...now that it's finally over, let's talk Magnificence!!!  Marvyn Magnificent blessed BH with a second collaboration, a 15 color shadow and highlight palette.  I have to say, I am SURPRISINGLY pleased!  There are also brushes in the collection, which I purchased as well and will review next-both of which perform together beautifully.  I just love a strong follow up collab; let's see what MM2 has to offer....

I've noticed a definite difference in makeup trends from one country to the next; what I've seen of late when it comes to the Euro makeup scene, it's very BOLD neutrals.  There's always some stellar highlight and blush that can double as an eyeshadow in the mix; but its the RICHNESS of the neutral tones that really set the looks and palettes apart...MM2 is no exception.  There are no standout bold shades, however, contains some of the most decadent matte shades I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.  The palette technically has 15 colors, 10 shadows, and 5 highlight shades.  Again, the real stars here are the mattes, as there are only 3-4 true shimmer shadows.  Each shadow is super-blend-able and buttery.  My faves are Crazy in Love, Dem Cheeks Tho(an eyeshadow!), and Deluxe.  I can see myself using this everyday.

Although not marketed as such, this is actually a bomb-ass combo of neutral shades.  If you are a die-hard fan of Urban Decay's Naked Palettes, this is a product I would certainly recommend you work into your routine to help stretch the shelf life of some of those more expensive shadows.  This palette retails for $17.50 via the BH website, but is elusive, because it rarely stays in stock...happy hunting!!  💋💋💋💋💋💥 kisses Marvyn, I enjoyed every minute!!!~The Queen
