Belle en Argent Auteur Creme Lip Color

We already know I have a special place in my heart for lipstick...It is THE one thing in my makeup life I cannot live without!  I'm always on the lookout next big thing in the lipstick world, and get excited all over again with every new release.  One company I just recently became acquainted with, Belle en Argent, has a line of creme lip colors by the name of Auteur; which may perhaps be THE most buttery lipstick to ever grace my lips.  Nothing in makeup gives me as much pleasure as finding new things I never knew I couldn't live without.  Let's talk Smoking On-Screen, my shade of choice from the collection, and find out just why I'm so smitten...

There are technically 15 shades in the Auteur Creme line, however, one is a transparent lip balm.  I thought to myself, "you know what, that's a stroke of PURE genius!"  I mean, think about all the times we've had to rely on whatever lipstick we had rolling  around in the bottom of our purse to quench parched lips?!  The packaging on these is absolutely gorgeous.  The metallic silver against the 3D geometric print has these looking more like mini works of art than tubes of lipstick.  On the inside, the tube itself is covered in stars.  Don't even get me started on the formula!! It's super smooth and creamy.  The color applies evenly, and feel HEAVENLY to wear.  These are infused with natural oils, each containing a combination of of both argan and jojoba.  I swear it left my lips feeling like 40% better!!  Smoking On-Screen is a deep purple/burgundy shade; think MAC Heroine and Diva had a baby.  It's the kind of color that winter lip color dreams are made of...
