BH Cosmetics Stellar Collision Palette

Now that highlighter seems to be having a moment,  it looks like everyone is attempting to join the wave, even eye shadow palettes!  There's so many options available now, and most of the highlight shades double as eye shadows as well.  The newest edition to the BH Galaxy Palette Collection is Stellar Collision; the very 1st in the series to include baked highlighter shades.  It's an eclectic mix of shades with an out of this world arrangement that takes its place among the stars.  It's been a minute since the galaxy collection has expanded, let's see how Stellar Collision holds up against it's predecessors...

So the very 1st thing I noticed is that it includes 1 less shade than the others; containing only 17 colors as opposed to 18.  This was no biggie, especially since there are several over sized pans in the palette.  I did, however, become slightly bothered when I realized there was a 3 gram product weight deficit; prior palettes all contained 35g, this one has only 32g.  That's a significant difference when we are talking just 1 mere shade.  That means the overall product, not just the one color, is lacking; ok fine.  Let's move on to the colorway...The left side of the palette reminds me of Solar Flare, all day.  3 of the 4 large pans are housed here; all shades are warm toned.  The right side of the palette are all cool-toned shades that have an almost "elemental" theme to them(earth, air, fire, water).  Because the shades are all baked, they do go on sheer  when dry, but are very build-able.   Each shade is a shimmer, and have a beautiful sheen.  The colors are all jewel tone.

I personally like the idea and setup.  It doesn't replace the others that came before it(Solar Flare is my OG fave!), but if you don't own any of the others, it's a good way to be exposed to the collection.  I'm giving her 5.5 kisses; she's pretty and pigmented, and gorgeous to look at; great job BH!!~The Queen
