Right off the nuts, you should know, I now totally GET what it feels like to be a real live Disco Queen!!! I'm just stating to understand what the allure was all about; The MAKEUP!! These Eyelight Shadow Toppers are glittery, metallic goodness all wrapped up in a tiny bottle! Before the question is asked, YES, these are dupes for the Stila Simmer and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows. Somebody please bring back studio 54 so I can shine like this ALL the time!!
There are 6 dazzling shades in all; each one metallic and shimmery. As a matter of fact, the shade Psych is a dupe for Stila's Gypsy (which is currently sold out on their site, and retails for $24.00!). Some of the shades add a sheer glimmers, such as BFF, others are completely opaque, like Chill Pill. Eyelight Toppers are describe on BH's website as being, "lustrous [and] light catching shades(s) that glide on effortlessly and transforms to a pearlescent, celestial hue with stunning shifts and maximum shine." This is absolutely ACCURATE. Want serious mermaid vibes? Gnarly is the perfect shade to give it to you. What I love most about these is that they do dry down completely, and do not crease when layered over powder shadows. It has excellent staying power as well when this is done, and did not require a retouch for about 6 hours after application.
This is one of those small, often overlooked products that carries some serious punch. It has the power to transform eye looks and make them truly unique. Priced at $8.00 MSRP, I can afford to purchase and play with all 6 shades. If you hurry, you can catch them on site on sale for $5.60. 💋💋💋💋💋💋; who needs diamonds?!~The Queen
