One major thing my 90 Day BH Deep Dive has done for me was expose me to some stellar YouTube Beauty Gurus. Case in point, Ms. Tina Yong. I even got a little international beauty guru in my system by being put on to some German stars! Anyway, I digress; I had to snag the Run Wild Palette before we reach the end, it looked TOO delicious to pass up! It give definite summer vibes, but easily translate across season by incorporating some easy neutrals. Let's take a look at Run Wild and see just what it's all about...
My favorite type of palette is one that is multi-purpose, and it includes both eye and face products. Run Wild is an 18 color palette that includes 12 eyeshadows, 2 highlighters, and 4 blushes. When I watched Ms. Yong's intro video of the palette on YouTube, she mentioned the blush shades could also double as eyeshadows; this intrigued me...The packaging is a tri-fold, with a large mirror. It's a white, teal, and foil gold theme design. So let's talk pigment...I'm pleased to report the color payoff is DEFINITELY there! I used the bright, lime green shade by the name of Avocado for my inner corner, and it seriously popped dry, with a small amount of primer. I also used the blush as Tina suggested, as 2 shades were too fair as blushes for me, and the bronzer actually MATCHES my skin tone! It was perfect to set my eyes and be laid down as an initial transition shade. She was right; the colors DO translate to the lid perfectly. I absolutely love both highlighters, Starlet and Luna; I have been mixing and alternating these for everyday uses. The eyeshadows that have my heart at the moment would have to be Ladyboss, Dusk, Skyhigh, and Reign. Each color is saturated, rich, and vibrant; it makes me crave a tropical popsicle!
Alright, so I'm impressed! This is my favorite type of purchase; the one when you have no idea what to expect, but you have butterflies the whole time you're buying it...Then you find out it's fabulous, and it's love from that point forward. I am very pleased with my intro to Ms. Yong,and want to see more from her in the years to come.
