If you haven't already heard, or read my past post about Juvia's Place(I'll link it below this post!), professing my undying love for their ultra-pigmented palettes, then you may have a small problem grasping the TOTAL adoration I have for today's fabulous find!! Listen, no matter what, a girl's GOTTA glow! Juvia's Place released their own line of BLINDING highlight shades that include both loose and solid forms of the product. One of the things I appreciate most about Juvia's are the curated sets, n which you are able to try multiple items at a more discounted rate than if you were to purchase them separately. I scored one such set for my birthday bag this year, which included 2 pressed shades(Heroine Glow I&II), 1 loose shade(Heroine), and 1 Highlight and Blending Brush. Today we are going to focus on the pressed versions, but TRUST, I will speak on the rest of the collection shortly...
Winter in Michigan is REAL. Weeks can pass by without the slightest inclinations of sunlight. Days like those have you feigning for a little shine. This is when a beautiful highlight becomes your best friend; providing you with that "lit from within" glow you are soo desperately craving. Both Heroine Glow I &II have become a new permanent fixture in my makeup bag. The formula is incredibly silky, it melts into the skin like butter and shows up to SHOW OUT!! As with ALL Juvia's products, respect the pigmentation and go EASY, she does NOT PLAY!! The bling is absolutely buildable, however, I see no NEED to. As far as the shade difference, H(I) has a rosy undertone within the soft gold glow. H(II) is like a straight 24K meltdown. I'm enamored with the miniature hat boxes the highlight is packaged in; it's ultra posh and unique.
The eyeshadow palettes are still my #1 from the brand, but this highlight may just be my #1 highlight of ANY brand. That's high praise coming from someone who literally collects them all for comparison and to satisfy my makeup OCD requirement! They are nothing short of AMAZING. You can purchase the set of 2 for $25.60, the Kit for $40.00, or try them individually for $14.00 each. Whatever choice you make, just make sure you choose to TRY them!!
