I'm growing up in my makeup life ladies! This is an absolute FACT because I picked up a palette that is perhaps my most maure purchase to date...It contains NO shimmers, and I can't say that ONE shade that stands a head and shoulders above the rest...The palette I am speaking of is BH Modern Neutrals 28 Color Matte Eyeshadow Palette I lie to you not, as far as clothing is concerned, these are shades are typically the colors I rely on when I need to convey to the public I mean BUSINESS; these colors, translated to the lids tell an IDENTICAL story...
I chose this palette based solely on that fact; I wanted my go-to big girl colors to translate seamlessly into a makeup look. Being as though the palette is entirely matte, when I wasn't going for a completely matte eye look, I found combining this with the original Zodiac 25 color Eyeshadow and Highlight Palette (check out that review linked below the post!) provided me with endless color combinations that did NOT compromise my big girl status. The formula is smooth, with very little fallout, and is very buildable. There are several shades in here that work fantastic as browbone highlights, and every shade you can think of (except a deep green!) to deepen your outer crease to intensify your look.
This palette, from what I read in the BH website description of the product, is not really intended to be used alone, but there are some of us who are totally committed to the matte life; if this is you, Modern Neutrals has your name written all over it. There aren't any bright colors in here, it's just as the name indicates, a more modern approach to a collection of neutral shades. It's a great basic to have, especially if you are a lover of sparkle, it's an easy way to grow your eye looks up in an instant. 💋💋💋💋💢 BH, PLEASE DO THIS AGAIN!!!~The Queen
