There's something about Lipstick in its traditional form...It has magical powers of transformation that we have yet to fully comprehend. Don't get me wrong, I am HERE for the liquid lip trend, but I absolutely CANNOT live without a smooth, semi-matte finish!!! BH Cosmetic's Color Lock Lipstick is the perfect blend of both. These are not among the newer products, but are still available in 2 shades via BH.com. One color in particular, Dark Rose, single-handedly rekindled my love of a deep, TRUE berry lip, and gave my liquid lipsticks a run for their money...

Let's talk formula: As far as consistency and color payoff are concerned, you would be hard-pressed to find one better. It's extra-smooth, and not overly creamy; not needing multiple swipes to receive the full color payoff. It's not budge-proof, however, did not require a touch up after a full meal and two glasses of wine. The colors a fully opaque, and appear EXACTLY as they do in the tube on the lips. They are so comfortable, they almost feel like a lip balm, but sans even the slightest hint of greasiness. My only regret when it comes to these color lock lipsticks is that I didn't pick them up when the entire collection was available!
If you are a fan of Wet N Wild's Megalast Lipsticks, these are a fantastic counterpart. BH has remaining colors are currently on sales for $2.00. I know one thing, I'm about to stock up on Dark Rose before it is gone forever!! Color Lock Lipstick deserves every one of these 💋💋💋💋💋; its a shame there wasn't more hype surrounding these when they first were first released; we missed out makeup world...~The Queen
