BH Cosmetics BH Chic 14 Piece Brush Set

So you know if a brush set comes in pink, ESPECIALLY from BH, I'm like 97.9% likely to buy it!!  The set up for review today was just that sort of purchase!!  While perusing the brush section of BH, as I often do just for kicks, I came across the BH Chic 14 Pcs Brush Set;  I saw this set of absolutely gorgeous set of baby pink barrels with matching ferrules.  This wasn't one of the newer sets on the site, yet I had heard NOTHING about them from any of my trusted beauty gurus out there.  I thought, "14 beautiful, PINK BH brushes for $12.00?!  Yes please!  I can totally afford for them to be duds and end up being vanity eye candy..."

I'm pleased to report that this set was totally workable!!!  What I found most unique from the other BH brush sets is that the 3 face brushes included are varying sizes/shapes of a powder brush.  The Angled powder brush(#1), is full and soft, with duo fiber bristles.  This can be used with multiple powder products all over the face, but I especially liked it for blending in bronzer on my forehead.  Next, the Medium powder brush(#2), is perfectly sized for the apples of the cheeks.  I used it for my blush application, and I loved the soft and diffused finish it provided.  Finally, the Small powder brush(#3), is a fantastic tool for undereye setting powder, and, a more precise setting for nose contour.  Brushes #4-11 are all eye brushes, which all performed well and got the job done.  I found the blender(#7), to be super soft, and easy to work with.  The last remaining brushes, #12-14 are not brushes I typically use for my everyday routine, therefore unable to provide an honest opinion. 

This is a great set of brushes, particularly if you are looking to build a workable brush kit that is functional, and will stand the test of time.  Because this set does not contain any real viable options for applying foundation or other liquid/cream products, I would definitely suggest the  adding a bomb ass blender to the mix, which I just so happen to have a suggestion for a bomb ass sponge priced less than $2.00(Check out the post linked here: https://nouveaubeauty.queenkhira.com/2019/01/aoa-super-soft-wonder-blenders-pure.html)!!  I'm giving this set 💋💋💋💥(the starburst represents half a kiss), loosing the 1.5 due only to it's lack of foundation and highlighting tools.  Still a legit set, particularly if you are in need of the brushes included. ~The Queen
