This review is bittersweet for me because it is the last of the Glam Reflections Palettes! I saved this one to use exclusively for my birthday. Smoke is the darkest of the four palettes and is ideal for smoking out even the brightest of eye looks. This stood out the most to me of the collection because it was so different from the others. You get a mixture of amped up matte and shimmer shades that perform BEAUTIFULLY, but not much in innovation as far as color selection...
So let's start with one of my favorite features of this collection, the packaging!! It has the same hard plastic clamshell style palette with a full lid mirror. The top of the palette is a sky metallic blue. The formula of these shadows is superb; with the matte shades being the real standouts here. I used this in combination with the Zodiac Love Signs palette to create my birthday eye look. My favorite shade, however, is a duochrome blue that actually appears purple on the lid. The colorway is a range of cool-toned neutrals, with blue being the undertone of virtually all shades included. One other shimmer shade that tickles my fancy; its a rich, bronzy-gold. I have decided to use this as an all over lid basic for everyday.
The entire Glam Reflections Collection has been fabulous, from start to finish. My only disappointment is that there are no others to try! I hope BH is reading this, and chooses to make them brand staples, continuing to release other editions. At the current $9.00 sale price tag they are currently sporting over on the BH website, you can actually snag all four for less than $40.00!!
