Throwback Thursday: E.L.F Endless Eyes Palette in Natural

Any die-hard elfette can recall the days of old when e.l.f. was notorious for their 32 pcs Endless Eyes palettes.  Each season, we eagerly awaited the release of a new colorway, hoping to discover yet another gem in the e.l.f. arsenal of great, affordable products.

Nowadays, with the line expanding and changing, putting more focus into curating products with market longevity, the staple items that we have come to rely on and anticipate are slowly disappearing.  One item, however, has seemed to stand the test of time, and makes an appearance EVERY season.  It's the Endless Eyes 32 pcs Palette in Natural.

In all honesty, since, Rainbow Brite is my second cousin twice removed, when it comes to an eyeshadow palette, I generally gravitate towards ones that have more PIZAZZ.  I need at least one show-stopping shade, even in a neutral palette, in order for me to bite...It took the mentioning of the word "dupe" for my attention to be drawn to this palette; more specifically, an Urban Decay Naked Palette Dupe...

Below is a diagram that corresponds to the dupe list, making it quick and simple to locate the Endless Eyes counterpart in the palette.  For $10.00, the pigmentation on these shadows are pretty damn good, ESPECIALLY for daily use.  They perform very well too, and are buildable to intensify color payoff.  An added bonus, UDNP includes only 12 shades; so even if you purchase EEN, specifically because of it being a dupe, its like getting 20 eyeshadows free!!

I DO miss those eye books though!!  There was always at least one fantastic shadow that made the entire purchase worth it, which was generally about $5.00.  I feel like my makeup purchases back in the day were so much more gratifying, and my disappointments were fewer and farther between.  If not one single redeeming quality could be found, at least it only cost me literal pennies.  Anyone else pheening for a little beauty nostalgia?~The Queen
