Today's Fab find is featuring a Tarte Dupe!!🙌 I was super-stoked about this particular palette even before discovering it was a dupe for Tarte's In Bloom, because of "Gilded", one of the sister palettes in the Glam Reflections collection. I reviewed it previously and am in absolute LOVE. Well "Rose" certainly did NOT disappoint, and is a star in its own right.
The packaging is just as lovely, the only difference is the reflective lid has a pink tint, as the other lid is solid gold. Inside you still have the mirror that spans the entire length of the lid. I do appreciate it being made entirely of plastic, as palettes made of cardboard are harder to clean and keep looking neat. It's the perfect size for travel, and DOES contain all the shades needed to create a complete eye look. the formula is superb; very smooth, ultra-blendable, and extremely pigmented. When applied wet, the shimmers intensify and dry down with a bright, metallic finish. If you prefer your eyeshadows on the natural side, I would suggest using a light hand, as the shadows are also very buildable, and can become bold with minimal effort.
I must say, BH's stab at the whole rose gold eyeshadow palette trend is a smashing success. there are 4 palettes in total in the Glam Reflections Collection, and so far, I'm feeling it! I do have the other 2 remaining, "Smoke" and L'amour, which we will take a look at later on in the deep dive. the palettes retail for $16.00 each, but are currently on sale for $11.20 via the BH website. 💋💋💋💋💋; no doubt! Have a Fab weekend Loves!~ The Queen
