You know, everything happens for a reason,even in our makeup lives! BH Cosmetics has 2 Sculpt and Blend brush sets that I have had my eye on for quite sometime, but every time I get ready to order them, they are sold out, either 1 or the other. Well, during my deep dive shopping, I came across the Sculpt and Blend Fan Faves 10 Pcs Set. At the time, it was available for purchase as part of a bundle with the Glam Reflections L'amour Palette. Not only is the set HOT PINK; but it is a compilation of the best brushes from these much-coveted sets. Needless to say, I was passed by stoked, and hopped on the opportunity to try these out!!
So, first things first; the brushes are well-made and withstand rigorous washing. Each brush is duo-fiber, with the white tips, the opposing color is black. This is a plus for cleaning, as they return to their original color. The bristles are super-soft, and the metallic pink ferrules may be my absolute favorite feature. The handles are a bright pink wood, which, to me, is preferable to the black and gold colorway of the original parent sets. The densely packed bristles made my makeup application super-breezy, and applied everything effortlessly. My foundation and eyeshadow were the true stars of the look, having the most flawless, airbrushed finish of any of the other products used.
The set retails on BH's website for $21.00, yet is currently on sale for $14.70. The brushes definitely lives up to the description of being must-haves. The particular brushes chosen for this particular set, all being of quality, AND priced at less than $15.00 is UNREAL. Go get them, like YESTERDAY!
