You know, I wasn't sure what the new "fascination" was all about, but it seems like highlighters are having a MOMENT! Everywhere you look, every makeup brand is clamoring to put out the best and the brightest. I couldn't help but get swept up in the wave, and definitely could not resist trying out a few new ones. One in particular on the BH website was soo eye-catching, I just had to pick it up...
Enter the Duolight Highlight 9 Color Palette. First impressions, before dipping into any of the pans; in one word: BRILLIANT. There are 3 full-sized shades across the top(from left to right): Top it Off, Top Notch, and Top Secret. The bottom 3 pans are split into 2 colors each(from left to right): Double Trouble, Double Date, Double Whammy, Double Time, Double take, and finally, Double Up. Inside the lid is a full-sized mirror, and the packaging is solid holographic gold. The split pan shades boast a duo-chrome effect; according to the BH Website:
"Illuminate your features with our Duolight Highlight 9 Color Palette, a dreamy array of shades that accent every skin tone with instant luminosity. I have yet to try any of the duochrome shades on my face, however, they do swatch beautifully. I am intrigued by this and can't wait to give it a try.
Highlighter just might be my new favorite beauty product too!! I really do love this palette, and CANNOT get over the amount of product you get for the price(32 grams to be exact!). it retails for $19.00, but is currently on sale via the BH website for $11.40. If I gave her less than 💋💋💋💋💋, I would be lying. You MUST have this in your collection; GO GET IT!!~The Queen
