This Friday I wanted to talk about something I very rarely mention on Nouveau, which is pressed Setting powders. The reason being is because I like what I like, so I generally do not stray from my go-to brands. However, I stumbled upon these two beauties quite by accident, but am more than pleased with the results!!
While scrolling through the new product section via http://www.shopmissa.com/?rfsn=1635028.7910d I came across the BR Powder Foundation Cake in shade #6 ($1.00), and the Malibu Glitz Powder in the shade Honey. The first thing that caught my eye was the designs pressed right into the product. The BR PFC had the cutest shell-like compact; I thought to myself, “even if it’s trash, the mirror compact is worth the $1.00 alone!”. Both powders do an excellent job of setting my makeup and bringing warmth back to my skin. After applying a setting Spray, it blended with all my makeup seamlessly.
I can’t say that I prefer one to the other; I actually just mixed them both together. I can tell you that I will use them both again, rotating them with my old standbys. These compacts get 💋💋💋💋, losing only one kiss because the sponges included were reminiscent of cardboard cutouts!😜~The Queen~
