I LOVE being from around the way. From the Italian Ices to the outdoor water park we create in the Summer with a Fire Hydrant and a Wrench. Its all magic. One of the best things about being from the hood is knowing how to navigate it and how to find things you will never see anywhere else. I have found some of most ride or die beauty products in some of the obscure places in my hood. I can always count on my favorite beauty supply store to have the most unique lip products, and to have the perfect anklet for my mood, albeit bells, rhinestones, a thick rope or fairy charms. Its a one stop shop if you are really pressed for time on a get fresh mission and is guaranteed to house the most cost effective accessories.
I have noticed recently a few of my tried and true hood brands have trickled their way down to other persuasions found outside the hood due to YouTube. This was to be expected, as appropriation knows no bounds.
Anyway, I Digress. This isn't a political piece, sit down "Conscious" Folk.
