Hi Ladies!! This is just a quick look at 3 new shades of lipstick by Kleancolor I tried out recently. I wasn't familiar with the brand, but the colors looked so interesting, and at .99 a pop I couldn't resist! The 3 shades I purchased are:
1. Georgia: A Warm Coral that leans more to the red side of the color spectrum(5th Shade from right)
2. Tea Rose: A Creamy Pink Shade with warm Caramel undertones(5th Shade from left)
3. Radiant Red: A Ruby Red and Fuschia mix with slight Shimmer(4th Shade from right)
Ok, so here are my thoughts on the 3 colors!
1. Georgia: Beautiful color with smooth application; Satin Finish; slightly sheer but buildable; can fill
lips completely with a Lipliner in a similar shade prior to application for an opaque finish
2. Tea Rose: My favorite of the 3! It's a great nude-y pink shade for women of color; Cream Finish;
very buildable with opaque finish.
3. Cranberry Mix: Fun Shade! At times it looks red, but when you look again, it's a shimmery Fuschia!
It has opaque coverage, and is the perfect color for someone who is dying to experiment but a little
self-conscious when it comes to bold lipsticks.
My overall opinion is that these shades are definitely good editions to a lipstick collection, especially if you're just starting out. For the price, you are able to experiment with multiple shades for piggy bank pennies! I would only say like I commented above, that the Georgia shade is on the sheer side, which could be the case for other shades I did not purchase, but that may not bother some of you girls. As with all makeup, lipstick is an experiment that works best when you try it out yourself. Comment below and let me know if you've tried any of these, and which shades are your favorite!!
