Everyday Sparkle

Figure out a way to shine everyday.  Even though pizazz exudes from the inside out, it doesn't hurt to show it on the outside on a daily basis.  It's great to be a woman, and it's about time we all acted like it!  If you were lucky enough to be born into this magnificent gender, you have an obligation to the world to show them how it's done!  I want you to wake up tomorrow, look in the mirror and say, I'm (insert your name here!), a Bad Chick from birth, and I Run This!!!(insert hair flip, drop the mic, and exit stage left!). I think I would die if suddenly every rhinestone and speck of glitter were to disappear from the planet. If your not the type of girl to don a cardigan covered in sparkle and shine, then perhaps try a fabolous confetti polish that emulates gemstones.  Still too bold?  How about an shimmery eyeshadow that makes your eyes pop.  It's not about looking like an ornament (although a shoe reminiscent of tinsel makes me smile!), it's about showing the world you're an everyday superstar!  A bright pop of color or strategically placed animal print can also work, but don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.  Now walk into your closet and get busy!  Decide today is the day you're gonna look like a million dollar bill.  Make sure a song is playing that embodies everything you want to portray (I tend to play "Eve" by Eve, the beat is sick, and she talks maaaddd slick, all in her big girl shoes!).  Do whatever you need to to get in your zone, but make sure you GET THERE before you dress yourself and face the day.  Having your head where it needs to be is just as important as what you're wearing!  Love yourself ladies, and remember, it takes just as much effort to dress poorly as it does to look awesome.  Are we bums, or are we beauties...food for thought!
